The Art of Success
Have you ever tried cheating just to pass a test or get a high grade? If yes, that my friend is not the art of success. For success is like an artwork that one must put effort, perseverance, patience and creativity, all mixed together to perfection.
Anyone that is a master of art knows that every detail is important to complete his piece. Eyeing it inch by inch, trying to finish it with the longest thread of patience that one could have. Finishing an artwork also consumes your strength and capabilities to think more. It requires an artist to give more effort and be more creative to think ideas that would make the blank sheet into a colorful one. Although an artist has sacrificed a lot already, he is willing to sacrifice more for perseverance is the key to finish what one have started. All these, are the similar traits that one should possess in order to achieve a perfect portrait of success.
Success is when you achieve your goals in life or when you get something that you badly want. It is not about the praises that you get, but the feeling of satisfaction in one’s heart. Knowing the true meaning of success is the art of it. Cheating and enjoying luxury without hardship will only hinder you to acquire the real success.
As the time goes by, success will be put into waste if your life revolves only on wealth, fame and power. A person must not forget that the love and support that comes from friends, family or partners in life is a big part of success. Will it be a painting if it lacks in color? A drawing without a sketch? No because, another art of success is not only about one’s status in life but also about the peace and contentment that a person must achieve in all aspect.
Summing it all up, success will not be success if it’s not a masterpiece. Also learn to appreciate starting from your smallest success up to the biggest, but just be humble of what you have achieved over the past years. Because, letting them see you reach your goals on their own is much better than looking desperate just to make them see your own achievements in life. Learn to thank others also and help them in anyway that you can, because sharing your success is not a bad thing to do. And it would be better if you’re not alone on the pedestal right?
Just remember that your journey towards success is not easy, so try to repay the help that other people have given you to put you in that place by helping those who are just yet to finish the road of their dreams. As what Steve Harvey said, “A person has to remember that the road to success is always under construction. You have to get that through your head. That it is not easy becoming successful.”
