Science, Math Fest held
With the theme, "Exploring Mathematics and Science towards Proficiency and Sustainability", Phinma University of Pangasinan - Senior High School (SHS) celebrated Science and Math Festival, September 29.
The program took place inside the University Gymnasium participated by SHS students from AM and PM sections, headed by the AghamAyan Club.
As part of the opening, SHS teachers led the Zumba Dance to energize the students for the following activities.
The last man standing game which 15 students are required to participate each section was conquered by Karen Kate Corrales,Am 21 student; the last woman standing.
The super quiz bee with easy, average and difficult rounds followed. AM8 students, Nisan Joy J. Cervantes, Mikho V. Benito and Cairone Kysser L. Obano won the contest, respectively.
Naomi Louise R. Cruz grabbed the first place in the field of collage making while AM2’s creative output in Ex-Sci-bit earned the first place.
On the other hand, Science and Mathematics Month Film Festival (SMMFF) was watched inside the ampitheater.
The film of PM 9 section entitled "Survival Horror" announced as the winner.
The members of AGHAMAYAN Club, the Science and Mathematics club of SHS, with the leadership of their President Jan Darianne N. de Vera under the supervision of Mr. Mac Justine E. Jimenez organized the program.
SHS Student Council also helped them. The program ended with the awarding ceremonies.
